02/15/15 Knoxville Chive RTC at Vic's Beer Store, 102 Stekoia Lane, Knoxville, TN 37912, A DOG FRIENDLY HANGOUT, beginning at 1:00 p.m. throughout the afternoon. This is a monthly event sponsored by Knoxville Chive Intl., local chapter, who organize local acts of kindness, this year promoting the feeding & care of pets. Bring your leased dog(heaters provided) and enjoy time with other pets & owners. Collections of Pet Food & Treats, zip lock bags, and monetary donations all go to PFFP along with 10% of all afternoon sales at Vic's.

2nd Annual Bark In The Brehm at UT Vet School Equine Arena, 2407 River Drive, on the UT Ag Campus, 12:00 noon - 6:00 p.m. Bring your dogs to join in a variety of animal events, while you enjoy interacting with many pet related vendors, including PFFP. Also, enjoy a sneak preview of the Vet Hospital's Spring Open House.

8th Annual Mardi Growl Pet Parade & Party on Market Square, 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Dress your dogs in Mardi Gra type costumes and win your pet's category of best dressed, or better yet, Best of Show! Many vendors will demonstrate their unique contributions to every type of need & care imaginable to YOUR PET. 2nd Annual Open House at Admiral Veterinary Hospital, 204 N. Watt Road, Farragut, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Visit and tour this animal hospital with staff who will demonstrate for and educate your children, and you, on the ordinary and advanced care of pets like yours. Visit Pantry For Feeding Pets this Memorial Day and become part of this growing effort to reduce hunger in YOUR community of needy folks & their pets, the many shut-ins, and formerly homeless Veterans who need ALL OUR HELP!

Salute to Heros, Smokies Park, I-40/Exit 407, Gates open at 6:00 p.m. preceding first pitch at 7:05 p.m. between the Tennessee Smokies and Pensacola Bay Bears. Pantry For Feeding Pets' volunteer will offer ways you can assist formerly homeless VETERANS feed and retain the companionship of their pets! Look for this volunteer near favorite Veterans' table.

4th Annual Walk & Wag at Victor Ashe Park from 10:00 A. M. to 1:00 P. M. benefitting the Abby Gibson Veterinary Medicine Scholarship Endowment. Registration to walk your dog for this cause is 9:00 A. M. to 10:00 A. M. Visit our Pantry For Feeding Pets table to learn how you can volunteer or donate to help us feed "NEEDY" domestic animals in our area.

21st Annual Bark-In-The-Park Event at World's Fair Park, sponsored by the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley. Pantry For Feeding Pets will host a display & information booth from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. for your barking pleasure. Bring all your multi-legged friends on a leash (children over 21 years excepted) for fun & frolic for all. Learn more about pet hunger issues and how you can make a difference.

Homeless Veterans Stand Down Event at the Armory on Sutherland Avenue from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Veterans will receive medical & dental treatment as well as information on many free services available to them in the Greater Knoxville community. Pantry For Feeding Pets will promote how veterans may receive pet food assistance as needed.

Pantry For Feeding Pets features new info & progress in your community as well as our new Mascot, a "rescued" American Eskimo mix, Wynde. Orange tee shirts available with Pantry For Feeding Pets' logo to support PFFP's pet food & fund raising efforts.

UT Gardens Hal-O-Ween event at UT Gardens, 2431 Joe Johnson Drive, 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Many vendors of all varieties will be present for your review. This is a pet food drive to support the Pantry For Feeding Pets. Bring any quantity of dog or cat food, dry or wet, along with treats, to support the area's feeding of hungry pets and to help keep them with owners.

2015 Furry Fall Festival at Young-Williams Animal Center, 3201 Division Street, noon - 4:00 pm. Presented by Petco Foundation, learn about many low cost options available to the responsible caring of pets. Many vendors will display products you need to know of, and the Pantry For Feeding Pets will feature our newest rescue mascot, WYNDE! Learn how you can become involved in the feeding of needy pets and maintaining the companionship between them and their owners.

Fund and pet food raising benefits Smoky Mountain AniMeals on Wheels, VETERANS, Community Food Connection, Louisville Christian Assistance Center, and FISH.

Pet Supplies Plus - Pantry For Feeding Pets' volunteers will be at Pet Supplies Plus in Fountain City from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm to interact with customers and friends of pet owners everywhere to promote the reduction of pet hunger in our community. Come visit with volunteers to learn the many ways you can help this charity to promote its mission of assisting Veterans, elderly shut-ins and our other low income friends having trouble retaining the companionship of their beloved pets.
